Born Ipoh, Malaysia, Rajinder Singh is an Indian visual artist who works full-time out of his studios in West London. His background in engineering and mathematics is the driving force behind his practice. In Number-Trance-Face, Rajinder paints large portraits using only numbers and mathematical equations. He asks: “What is the numerical equivalent of lovely?”.
